newspapers..... the end is near... or is it?

Out of the choices of newspapers we had I feel as if the Dundalk Eagle would have a better chance of survival then the New York Times, USA Today, Baltimore Sun, and Washington Post. Granted you would think the bigger name branded papers would survive and they might, but honestly everything you see in the paper is usually a day later rather then myself going onto the web and finding out what happens in the world rather than waiting for the paper to come out. The Eagle I think has a better chance of survival because its about local events and everyone loves reading about themselves. Makes us look like a bunch of conceded ass holes but its the truth. Biased yes but that's the society today, everyone only worries about themselves. people would rather read about local high school teams, or college teams. Its the Eagle is obviously has to be easy to read since the people of dundalk are a bunch of redneck dummies. It  The Eagle gives the community of Dundalk a sense of enlightenment about their town and I think people would care more about that other than world issues. sad but true.
Above is an image of News and World with their last issue. Internet is taking over and pretty soon all of the newspaper companies will diminish but I feel the Eagle will be the last of the 5 papers standing.

  1. I don't think were a bunch of conceited assholes...We need our EAGLE ;) As you all know I am the oldest in our class and I am not a technology type person. I actually can't do all that digital crap, and online I think its harder to read. Do you remember when the Pennysaver use to be real thick and now its even a waste to send to our house!

  3. You found a voice in this post, however brash or straightforward it may have been. I agree that the Eagle will be the last of the 5 standing but maybe you could of found a little more supporting evidence as to why you think so. Either way, I enjoyed what you had to say and It literally made me laugh out loud.

    p.s. I think Dundalk needs a Dark Knight...just saying
