The ED Show and Politics Nation are so biased towards democrats its unreal. I turned on AL Sharpton for my father and the first words out of his mouth were "wow this guy is an ass. he's a jerk" I could not agree more. Sharpton's unnecessary shouting and yelling to get his point out are for one annoying and two not needed. Sharpton's demeanor is very rude and open. The issues being discussed on his show were Republicans trying to bash Obama and take down Obama care but are failing, but continue to try and bring him down. Sharpton brought out guests who were against Obama. He let them have their piece but once they were done oh AL would chew their head off. After watching I can tell Sharpton is Pro Obama and is very liberal.
The Ed show, biased towards democrats like Politics Nation. Now these two shows, may have had the same views, but the Ed Show was \ less shouting, rude like Sharpton. Same type of guests. who showed the same views as sharptons. Ed would write them a new one. Ed also had 3 other guests that sat with him discussing Obama Care. Ed Schultz, Also brought up how a republican senator is getting ted nugent to help run his campaign. They showed a few clips of nugent and it makes him look like an ass the way he talks about Obama, but some of the things he brought up in my views were true. But after that video was shown they began to say how having nugent run your campaign will cause more than hell, but a catastrophe. Now with 2 hours out of my life, did I learn anything today? yes, that these news reporters will do or say anything to have people believe them. That's why no one can be trusted with polotics or journalism for that matter.
Personally, i would hate to have watched Al Sharpton. The fact that you said he has to scream to get his point across makes it seem like he only cares about what he thinks and nobody else. Not only is that annoying in and of itself, but its hard to watch TV when someone is constantly screaming about a controversial subject.
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree that commentators bend the truth but they always want answers and will do anything to get them.
ReplyDeleteI think that though Al Sharpton does raise his voice, he is a very intelligent man who makes great points. Sometimes his showmanship can divert attention from the validity of his arguments but that does not make him an "ass". These guys should all be taken with a grain of salt, but to say that we should not trust them is in my opinion a stretch. I'm sure some of them lie on occasion but I like to think that news reporters have enough respect for their job to at least intend on telling the truth.
ReplyDeleteOne of the main reasons I never cared for politics in general is the fact that people get so angry when trying to get a message across to the public. I know that it probably wouldn't be as effective, but maybe if people took a more calm and understanding approach to things, yelling and getting angry wouldn't have to be an option. However, that's in MY perfect world, and I know it's unrealistic, unfortunately.
